Oh, don’t ask me how many times I tried to make the honey cake Medovik cake recipe. 😄 It isn’t difficult, but I was striving for a mouthwatering texture and taste.
Finally, I think I reached both! 🤪
There are plenty of Medovik recipe variations, with alcohol (vodka) and without, with a double boiler and without, but all of them have two ingredients in common: honey and sour cream.
There are also two honey cake recipes: an express cake with a sponge cake technique and a layered cake with multiple layers (up to 12-15).
Today, I am sharing a simplified version - express cake Medovik. It’s a tried and true recipe that has been tested and retested many times!!
